While most of us are looking for a release date for Grand Theft Auto V, it appears that Rockstar won’t give it to us that easy. Yesterday, we expected Rockstar to announce a timeframe for the release of Grand Theft Auto V, but ultimately we were left with nothing.
Back in the days of San Andreas, a website was put up as part of the game’s viral marketing campaign. The website, Epsilon Program, still looks rather basic and emits a rather annoying audio tune. However, you’ll note that the website now has a Twitter account that has already started sending out messages.
The tweets seem to go in hand with what you’d expect from a religion cult crafted in the Grand Theft Auto universe, and haven’t given out any major clues at this point. Is Rockstar beginning their viral marketing campaign, or are we looking at something else here?
The popular Cluckin’ Bell website is still as obnoxious ever, but doesn’t seem to have been updated. We’ll continue to scan for other websites that may receive an update, but the others seem to be rather quiet at this point.
What do you think Rockstar has planned for their viral marketing? When do you think Grand Theft Auto V will release? Be sure to let us know what you think by leaving us a comment below, or discuss Grand Theft Auto V in our forums.
