Star Wars 1313 Outed as the New LucasArts Title

E3 isn’t even upon us yet, and games are being leaked left and right.  Don’t believe us? Thanks to a mistake on the part of GameTrailers TV, the new Lucas Arts title has now been confirmed.

While most thought that it might be Star Wars: Battlefront 3, we can now confirm that the new title is Star Wars 1313.  The game was spotted first by Joystiq who managed to grab a screenshot of the leak. No other information was detailed, but we’ll point you towards the website registered by LucasArts for the soon to be announced title.  Sadly, there’s no information on that website but we’d expect that to change in the near future.

With the reference to “1313” in the title, many are expecting the game to be centered around Boba Fett.  For those of you not well-versed in the Star Wars universe, Boba Fett also goes by the alias “CT-1313”.  Many fans were hoping for a movie announcement to be revealed when the URL was first discovered, but it appears that it’ll be at least a game.

What do you hope to see out of the newest entry in the Star Wars series?  Are you hoping for a shooter, RPG, or something different entirely?  Be sure to let us know what you think by leaving us a comment below, or discuss Star Wars in our forums.
