Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima pushed hard for his Transfarring concept at last year’s E3, but hasn’t had much of a chance to display what his team has come up with yet. Other Vita titles have taken advantage of PS3 connectivity since that show, but it looks like we’ll all be able to experience Kojima Productions’ seamless Vita-to-PS3 correspondence soon as Metal Gear Solid HD Collection hits the PlayStation Vita June 12.

Console versions of this title are already available on PS3 and Xbox 360, but the Vita port will support touch-friendly controls. Trophies will also be available, but the PSP hit Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will be absent. That just leaves Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater on this portable product.
Are you excited to revisit these two classics next month? Does the lack of Peace Walker devalue the collection too much for you? Be sure to let us know what you think by leaving us a comment below, or discuss Metal Gear Solid HD Collection in our forums.
