At this point, it’s essentially confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is a “thing” and will be announced on May 1st. After multiplayer modes and details have leaked, it appears that another confirmation has shown up for Black Ops 2.
A reader from IGN sent in a picture of Black Ops 2 pre-order codes specifically from Target. Along with confirming the existence of Black Ops 2, the pre-order tokens also confirm the release date of November 13th.
The game is also set to be unveiled during the NBA playoffs on May 1st, exactly how Activision has revealed the title in previous years. Gamers can more than likely expect a cinematic trailer that includes some small portions of gameplay from the singleplayer campaign.
