Bethesda Announces Kinect Support for Skyrim

Ever thought that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim needed Kinect support? Well, you probably didn’t wish for it, but Bethesda has added it to the juggernaut title regardless.

Thankfully, the Kinect support that will be added to the title will be voice commands and not require you to flail your arms around.  Players will be able to pull over commands that allow you to quickly save or load your game, as well as numerous spells to help you in the heat of battle.

While a few gamers may roll their eyes when they first hear Kinect integration in the game, it appears to be something that quite a few individuals will use.  Continue viewing below for the official trailer from Bethesda.

The free title update that brings Kinect support is slated to launch this month, with it sounding like we should have it next week.  While there’s a good amount of voice commands in the video, the full list will be unveiled in the next few days. Bethesda also mentioned that they’ve been hard at work on the first downloadable content for Skyrim, and will be unveiling those details in the coming weeks.
