Oh boy, get your wallets ready. At this point, the only concrete details we’ve seen from Grand Theft Auto V have been the initial trailer
that was released for the game. From months before that point, and increasingly so after, rumors have spewed in regards to the game’s upcoming release.
This weekend, the CV of a Rockstar North Employee was discovered. The importance of this finding? The apparent release date of Grand Theft Auto V.
The CV mentions that Grand Theft Auto V will release on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The most interesting portion of this is that the title is listed as having an October 2012 release date. No specific date within the month is mentioned, however.
Rockstar would definitely make quite a few gamers happy with releasing the game this year, but fans ultimately want a fantastic experience over a flawed title. Rockstar has not commented on the CV, but the game should be shown at E3 2012 this year to answer quite a few questions and validate/kill rumors as well.
What do you think about Grand Theft Auto V releasing in October of 2012? Even though there haven’t been many details on the game, have you pre-ordered a copy? Be sure to let us know what you think by leaving us a comment below, or discuss Grand Theft Auto V in our forums.
