After a great deal of waiting, Microsoft has finally confirmed the official release date for Minecraft on the Xbox 360. The game took PC gamers by storm and has become a huge community filled with mods, tutorials, and more.
Microsoft has made it official that the game will be hitting the Xbox Live Arcade section on May 9th. While it’s great to see that the game will launch in a little over a month, the price may turn a few people off. Microsoft confirmed that the game will launch at 1600 Microsoft points, or $20.
The game is available on PC for $20, but most fans were a little shocked to see that the game would carry the $20 price tag to the Xbox 360. While it’s more than what you’ll typically see on the marketplace, it’s a game that boasts tons of hours and replay value.
