Official Release Date Announced for Diablo III

The long wait is almost over for Diablo III fans, as Blizzard has announced the official release date for the game.  That’s right, no more fake release dates to play with your heart.

The official website for Diablo III has just revealed that the game will launch officially on May 15th for the PC.

The game will be available for purchase digitally & through the more standard physical medium.  Fans of World of Warcraft who have the annual pass are still eligible to receive a free copy of the game.  You’re still eligible to buy the annual pass up until May 1st, 2012.
