Forza Motorsport 5 Launching in 2013; Horizon Detailed

Forza Motorsport has been one of the most impressive driving simulation titles that we’ve seen this generation.  With impressive car customization, incredibly realistic graphics, and a community that loves the series, it’s a sure bet that Microsoft and Turn10 plan to keep the series, well, moving.

NeoGAF has discovered an interview by an employee of Microsoft France that confirms a few new details on the Forza series.  The interview, once translated from French, states, “Forza Motorsport is and will always be developped by Turn10 with an every-two-years release schedule”.  Since Forza 4 launched last year, this development cycle trend would have Forza 5 launching in 2013.

The game is also said to be more along the lines of the Test Drive Unlimited series than your “traditional” Forza experience.  It’s pretty interesting to see the Forza franchise have a yearly release albeit two different titles within the Forza name.
