Debut Trailer for Assassin’s Creed III Goes Live

Assassin’s Creed III has pretty much taken over the video game news the past week or two.  From the first artwork of the character leaking, first screenshots, and then Ubisoft posting the official box art for the title; it’s been quite the ride.

Ubisoft promised that good news would be coming for Assassin’s Creed III within a few days, and they’ve delivered today.  The debut trailer for Assassin’s Creed III, which takes place in the American Revolution, has officially went live.

You’ll see the main character who goes by Ratohnaké:ton, or Connor if you’re struggling, in the forest fighting against numerous soldiers.  The climbing/parkour mechanic won’t be limited to just buildings this time around as you’ll see Connor jumping from tree to tree as well.

Ubisoft has apparently been working on Assassin’s Creed III for a few years now, so there’s quiet a bit of reason to get excited for the true third entry.  If you had doubts about how the American Revolution could work as a setting, this trailer should help erase a few of those doubts.
