Assassin’s Creed 3 was first announced a few weeks ago, and then Ubisoft revealed today that a “major” announcement was in the cards. Well, unfortunately for Ubisoft, the internet decided that their “major” announcement would be revealed a few days earlier.
Kotaku received an image tonight from a Best Buy employee that showcases art for the game. The image shows a Native American with a bow and arrow, tomahawk, and the original Continental flag behind him. The character, who is assumed to be the new main character, features a good amount of blood on his 18th century Colonial jacket.
Ubisoft is said to be working on unveiling this information plus pre-order bonuses for the title officially on March 5th. Since a Best Buy employee was the one who sent the image through, we’re assuming that the company will receive a rather favorable pre-order bonus.
