The rumor we’re about to provide you with might be either a very good thing or very bad thing depending on your stance for these characters. Last night, we reported on a rumor of Resident Evil 6 being in development and possibly being announced today. Today, we’re bringing you a new rumor that’s surfaced regarding the characters set to star in the new game.
Thanks to a report by VentureBeat, it appears that both Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy are set to start in the new Resident Evil title. The article also goes on to mention that the internal Japanese team developing the game has taken quite a bit of player feedback regarding the gameplay.
The game is said to looking to be a great blend between the action/horror of Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil 5 which featured a lot of action. More importantly, if this rumor holds true it would be the first time that two males were the main playable characters within the game.
A Resident Evil 6 announcement would surely be a large one, but we’re still waiting for Capcom to make some sort of a confirm/deny or even an announcement.
