Dead Island to Receive Ryder White DLC Campaign

If you haven’t been able to get enough of the zombie-slaying action available in Dead Island, then here’s your “excuse” to go back to the title.  Deep Silver has just sent over a press release that announces brand new downloadable content goodness coming to your console in the very near future.

The brand new downloadable content is set to hit the Playstation 3 on January 31st, and the Xbox 360 and Steam on February 1st.  The content will cost you $9.99/800 Microsoft Points, and feature a good bit of content.  What exactly might that content be? We’ve outlined it for you below thanks to the press release.

The Ryder White DLC campaign follows the story and perspective of the main game’s antagonist character and allows players to experience the events on Banoi through his eyes.  Players will take on the role of Ryder White as a playable character in a single player campaign with several hours of gameplay as well as brand new weapon blueprints.

Featuring four customizable, unique character classes and engrossing role-playing elements combined with an intense four player co-op experience, Dead Islandstands out as one of the most comprehensive zombie experiences to date.
