Welcome to the Stick Skills weekly video game release preview for November 21, 2011. Our review for Assassin’s Creed Revelations is coming out in just a few days, but in the meantime, what would it be like if Ezio Auditore was pitted against a world class ninja? Thanks this superb stop-motion video from Machinima, we might have our answer.
This week’s release schedule is eerily quiet in the light the recent month and a half. The largest multi-platform release is WWE ’12. Developed by THQ as a sequel to the series formerly known as Smackdown vs. Raw, the game promises a major overhaul to the core gameplay, including a dynamic fighting system that responds to the current condition of your opponent.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is an exclusive for the Nintendo Wii and marks the 16th entry in the 25 year-old franchise. This time around, we follow Link as he journeys through the Silent Realm with the spirit Fi in his sword. The game also takes advantage of the WiiRemote’s Wii Motion Plus to simulate the real life motion of a sword. As long as the WiiRemote doesn’t yield similar results to real life bystanders, we’re on board.
