Metal Gear Solid 5 Confirmed; Kojima to Helm

The Metal Gear Solid franchise will get a full-fledged fifth installment and Hideo Kojima will be directing production of the title. That’s the news first broke by the Official Playstation Magazine UK’s website in promoting their upcoming issue.

To the disappointment of many fans, Kojima dropped out of production for 2012’s Metal Gear Solid: Rising and has been strangely mum on the series ever since. Apparently is was for good reason. In the magazine, Kojima that’s available on newstands November 29, Kojima talks of his plans for working on Metal Gear Solid 5 and the still mysterious “Project Ogre.”
