For fans of handheld gaming, the Playstation Vita is an attractive device. Boasting two touchscreens, trophies, great graphics, and a laundry list of features, gamers have been wondering about the release date for quite some time. An initial release date had been tossed around for December of this year, but Sony pushed that date back a few months back.
Today, Sony has released an official statement on the Playstation Vita’s release date. Fans of the device will be able to pick it up in the United States on February 22nd, 2012. That’s right, the week after Valentine’s Day. Start being nice to your loved ones, because it’s time to start saving for the Playstation Vita.
