The legendary game making company, Id Software, has announced that they are in development of Doom 4, and the announcement comes in conjunction with quite a few job openings being posted on their site.

The specifics of Doom 4 have yet to be announced, but it will be a cross-platform game.  Will Doom 4 take advantage of the rarely used Windows Live feature for Xbox 360 & PC titles joining together?  We’ll keep you updated as more information is released.
