Sony has released the demo for their upcoming basketball title due out October 7th, NBA 09 The Inside, onto the Playstation Network.  The demo is just under one gigabyte and features the ability to do either a quickplay game featuring the Celtics and Lakers, and a chapter in their featured game mode "The Life".

Quickplay allows for gamers to play four, one minute quarters, on the Veteran difficulty.  There is no access to the replay, or settings, but testing out the game just for "The Life" mode is going to be enough to convince most basketball gamers to give the demo a shot.
