It looks like Sony might be trying to get a motion sensing controller on the market for the PS3. According to Playstation Lifestyle, Sony held a focus group to test a prototype of said controller.

The device itself was used to play several mini games including tennis, paintball, and fencing. Also demoed with the controller was Quake.

Even though Sony might never release this or even send it to production, the fact that they are trying might be enough to entice some of the PS3 gamers out there.
