It has been previously thought that only Subway and Gridlock would be making their way onto Epic’s Gears of War 2 as the only original maps, but it appears as if they may have some company.  According to a post on Evil Avatar, we may be a few more original maps make their way as downloadable content to Gears 2.

Previously, it was thought that Gridlock and Subway would be the only gears 1 maps making a return. Well, Epic is doing something different. There will be release day DLC that will contain those two maps, Canals, Mansion, and Tyro Station. These five maps will be free of charge but the only way to get them is if you receive a voucher, which every NEW copy of the game will have.

It’s great to see that more of the favorites will be making their way onto Gears of War 2, but seriously, Tyro Station?  It’s a clever map, but nowhere even close to being one of the more popular maps on Gears of War.  Be sure to let us know what you think!
