The internet is in a frenzy with LittleBigPlanet and codes for the Playstation 3 beta set to run until October 11th, but news today may have even more gamers giddy like school girls.
Gamers who receive the Playstation Underground newsletter might have overlooked a small detail, as it lists LBP as being released on October 7th. One might attribute that to being a typo, but if you think about it, it makes very good sense.
October 21st sees the releases of quite a few titles that may have gamers deciding on where to plant their money. Fable 2, while an Xbox 360 title, will be a huge draw for multi-console gamers, but add in the fact that Bioshock, Far Cry 2, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, and Midnight Club: LA, Sony may just be deciding to aim for the less busy day of October 7th.
The 7th falls on a Tuesday, and only has the combination of all of the NBA titles and Fracture. If the date had been the 12th or something relatively close to the 21st, then it may have been attributed to a typo, but this feels like putting a game on the market as soon as they can, especially since it’s been"gold" for quite some time.
