With such Xbox Live staples as Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, and Gears of War being released and played in 2007, it was not difficult to guess the top three Xbox 360 titles, however, with the sheer multitude of Xbox Live Arcade titles released in 2007 it was somewhat murkier.  Earlier this week, Major Nelson announced the Top Xbox 360 Titles and Top Xbox Live Arcade Titles of 2007.

    The lists, based on data collected between 1/01/2007 and 12/31/2007, are ranked by the amount of unique gamertags that had logged onto the game during the time frame.  However, the data for the top Xbox Live Arcade titles was only collected from those gamertags which purchased the full version of the XBLA game.
