As the anticipation for NCAA Football 09 grows even larger by the day, especially with the majority of the game’s core group wanting to participate in the online dynasty, we decided that it was time to make the sign-ups for our site’s online dynasty more public.
We plan to do a full twelve player dynasty, with teams ranging from all over the country depending on the user’s favorite team to use. Originally, we had decided to focus the teams within two specific conferences, but we soon realized that the progression of the dynasty may be haulted due to user vs user games not being played as quickly due to availability.
There will be a dedicated thread for the actual dynasty, and users that don’t complete their weekly game within the allotted time, unless contacting myself or one of the other users in the dynasty, will be subject to a forfeit. That rule will apply more to the limited amount of user vs user games included in the dynasty, as computer games can be completed on a much more flexible schedule.
Quarters will consist of six minutes, and be played on the All-American difficulty unless users see a need to bump up either one of those settings. We can only accept 11 users into this dynasty, so we wish you all the best.
How to Get Accepted
In order to submit your application, or to receive any sort of consideration, you need to post a comment on this post stating your gamertag, a short sentence on why you should be one of the users selected, and what team you will be using.

We are also considering launching a PS3 version of this online dynasty, but that will be subject to how many users are interested in doing this as well. If we get a considerable amount of users on the Playstation 3 that want to participate, then we will create an online dynasty for those users as well.
Last but not least, if we encounter the scenario where there are a huge amount of users that want to participate in either league, we will consider opening up a second dynasty for that console. We would then have a national championship winner in each dynasty, and then the two winners would face off in a Xbox Live match to decide a true champion, who would also receive a prize making it well worth it.
We’re excited for the upcoming submissions, and we’re hoping you guys are too! If you have any questions at all, feel free to just submit a comment and we’ll respond as soon as we see it! We’ll be launching the online dynasty the weekend of the launch, so hopefully on the 18th we will be sending the invites out.
