If you talk to someone who was able to enjoy gaming in the 90s, they’ve likely played at least one game in the Turok series. While we saw the release of Turok on the PS3, 360, and PC in 2008, it appears that Propaganda Games was working on Turok 2 before the studio was closed.
Disney technically owns the license at this point, so there is the possibility that we could see another Turok come from a different developer. However, someone from Propaganda Games has released tons of artwork and even a video showcasing what was in the works. In addition to the artwork, a cinematic cutscene appears to have leaked as well for Turok 2.
You’ll notice a feathered dinosaur, named the “Feathered Raptor”, as well as a myriad of other dinosaurs. The game does seem a bit bland in certain pieces of artwork, but we’ve been unable to uncover details as to why the game was cancelled. It would likely be that due to the re-imagined Turok not being received very well by the industry that Disney Interactive Studios decided to go in another direction.
