While all the crazy PAX East news goes around, EA and Insomniac have finally locked down a date for their upcoming co-op shooter Fuse announced in a press release.

You’ll be able to nab the title on May 28 or May 31 in the UK for Xbox 360 and PS3. It was originally supposed to be release early 2013 but got pushed back and before then, it was originally called OverStrike but was delayed to change some of the gameplay and themes and of course, the title.

Fuse has you stepping into the shoes of four agents with specific skills, heavy weaponary or the ability to blast singularities for example. Insomniac’s pedigree for creative weaponry will be in full force in this title.

Let us know if you’ll be picking it up in May in our comments or post in our forums.

Coming off from sites like XBLAFans, GameJudgment and TouchArcade, I'm looking to further extend my reach with the multiplatform news. I love all sorts of games from 2d side-scrollers to action/adventures set in fantasies or gothic nature like Castlevania. My 3 favourite games ever are Viewtiful Joe, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Chrono Trigger.
