Capcom and WayForward announce remastered ‘DuckTales’ at PAX East

One of the two unannounced games that Capcom debuted at PAX East is making life a hurricane. Except not at PAX East, but in Duckburg as a they announced a brand new DuckTales with inspiration from the classic NES/GB game.

Mighty Switch Force/Double Dragon Neon WayForward will be developing the game, entitled DuckTales Remastered. It’ll be out this summer for $14.99/1200 MSP on XBLA, PSN and Wii U e-Shop.

While the world will be 3D, the sprites will be 2D and hand-drawn for a proper animated look. Jake Kaufman will be working on the music if you haven’t heard his amazing chiptunes in Retro City Rampage and 80s synth in Double Dragon Neon.
