‘SimCity’ averages one star from 1,000 Amazon reviews

SimCity-5

At its core, SimCity seems to be a quality entry in the city-building franchise. However, extreme functionality issues have led legions of angry buyers to give the game less-than-stellar reviews on Amazon.

That may be a bit of an understatement. As of right now, the SimCity download has 1,035 customers on Amazon. The average of those reviews is a 1.2 out of 5 stars.

This isn’t the only place EA’s latest release is catching flak. Let’s move over to Metacritic. Although SimCity is sitting right around the 80s in terms of professional critic reviews, the userscore has plummeted to only a 1.7 out of 10.

Folks, these are not pretty numbers.

Serves EA right. Similar thing happened when BF3 launched on PC, still peeved about that.

This has been coming, piece by piece for years. When they started charging a buck for throwback jerseys and the Nike Swoosh we all should’ve walked away from em and not looked back.
