‘Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’ world premiere trailer leaks out

In the video game industry, you’ll often find games that are kept out of the public eye until its respective company is ready to reveal it. Then, well, you have Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag which has just seen leak after leak.

Ubisoft made the game official earlier this week and now they’ve unveiled the world premiere trailer for the title. We already know the game features a pirate theme, but we haven’t seen much of the brand new character for the newest entry in the series.

The trailer hints that we’ll be seeing the popular naval battles return, but we get a great look at how the character we’ll control in the game is perceived by everyone else. The trailer is completely CGI, which leaves us to wonder just what Ubisoft will have to show next week for the title. Will we be seeing gameplay even though the game is seven months out from release?

With the game being confirmed for next-generation consoles, we’re fairly anxious to see gameplay of an Assassin’s Creed title with more resources. Will the game simply be a port to next-generation consoles with better textures and resolution? Or was the game built for the Playstation 4 and Xbox 720 only to be ported to current systems?

Time will tell which route Ubisoft took, but you have to wonder if consumers are getting an overdose of the series with so many releases in the past few years. Are you excited for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag?

When not writing for the site, you can find Dougie on Xbox Live & Playstation Network (Gamertag: AirUpThere06). He plays just about everything, but loves a good shooter with a great multiplayer experience.
