It’s always an interesting time when new consoles release, and this generation is no different. Deals we’ve come to expect and plan on, such as Call of Duty and Skyrim limited time exclusivity on the Xbox 360 to Battlefield 3‘s content being available on the Playstation 3 first. Activision’s biggest franchise clearly favors Microsoft, while EA’s clearly favors the Playstation 3. However, after the PS4 announcement and now this rumor, it seems as if things are balancing out a bit, or perhaps even having a reversal.
CVG is reporting that EA and Microsoft have come to a deal regarding exclusive content for one of Electronic Arts’ next generation titles. With Bungie and Activision having announced exclusive content for the Playstation 4, it’s been an interesting couple of weeks.
For now, however, all we can do is wait for Durango’s reveal which is rumored to be sometime in April.
