‘The Elder Scrolls Online’ beta signups begin, new trailer

Beta signups are now available for The Elder Scrolls Online. To accompany this announcement, Bethesda Softworks released a cinematic new trailer, showcasing the three playable factions of the game.

Those interested in applying for an invitation to beta-test the game can go to The Elder Scrolls Online official website and input their various information, such as other MMOs they play and what their computer’s specifications are.

The trailer foregoes any footage of actual gameplay in favor of a cinematic look at the three factions of the game, the Daggerfall Covenant, the Ebonheart Pact and the Aldmeri Dominion.

There’s no word on when the beta invitations will be rolling out, but it doesn’t hurt to apply, no matter what your system’s configurations are. Like most beta events for video games, developer ZeniMax Online Studios is surely looking for a wide array of applicants.

What do you think of the trailer? Will you be signing up for the beta? Let us know in the comments below or head over to our forums.
