The first map pack for Halo 4 launched Monday on the Xbox Live Marketplace just in time for Halo 4’s target demographic to make the hard decision: Study for finals or play Halo 4?
The Crimson Map Pack delivers three new maps: Harvest, Shatter, and Wreckage.
“Venture into the large, vehicle focused human environs of Harvest, explore a human foray on an alien moon in Shatter, and witness the chaos of a clash of civilizations in Wreckage, with its blend of claustrophobic spaces and dangerous exposures,” says the product description.
Those that picked up the “War Game Map Pass” will already have access to the Crimson Map Pack and should not download the Crimson DLC, as they will be charged again.
Those that have had a chance to play the new maps, what’s your overall impression? Do they all have their strengths and weaknesses or is there a unanimous “best map”? Let us know in the comments below or head over to the forums.
