‘Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance’ footage has a Metal Gear, sombreros

Kojima Productions and Platinum Games aren’t far away from the release of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance but that won’t stop us getting super excited about it. We got some new footage of the game to show off, below is one of the beginning fights against a giant Metal Gear Ray. Yes, he lifts the giant robot all by himself, pretty damn crazy.

Another bit of new footage shows off an underground level where he faces off a new robot called Mastiff. It’s very ape-like and can pack quite a huge punch at times. After Raiden finishes the battle, he goes into an store-front where you can access upgrades. Except Raiden equips a sombrero and a poncho then stealth kills a robot. This game just sounds better from writing it alone.

This game keeps looking crazier and crazier. Look forward to its release on February 19. Let us know how excited you are to slice and dice in our comments or forums.
