Rumor: ‘Beyond: Two Souls’ gets a release date

A tentative launch date for Sony and Quantic Dream’s Beyond: Two Souls has just appeared on the PlayStation website.

An IGN reader named John emailed the website’s PlayStation team about the game’s release date appearing on the official website. As of now, it looks like Two Souls will be hitting retailers May 25, 2013.

As IGN points out, this is a strange date to release a game. More often than not, games released in North America arrive on store shelves on Tuesdays. May 25, on the other hand, is a Saturday. So, either things are going to get crazy in 2013, or this is just a placeholder. Either way, it seems like May is going to be the month for Beyond: Two Souls.

What do you think about this date? Do you believe we’ll see the next game from the developers behind Heavy Rain in May? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below!
