Grand Theft Auto V is expected to come to both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 spring 2013, but a legion of PC gamers are doing their best to get in on the fun.
A petition on Change.org has asked Rockstar Games to bring GTA V to PC, and while it’s rare that online petitions like this to have an impact, more than 50,000 signatures have been accumulated at this time. And it’s only growing.
“Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many peoples lives and it’s a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform,” the petition reads. “Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have.”
As of now, Rockstar has no plans for either a Wii U or PC port of this massive open-world game, but it’s possible that we’ll see the title make it to those platforms in the future.
