The latest chunk of downloadable content for DICE and EA’s Battlefield 3 has been dubbed “Aftermath,” and if you’re a Premium player on the PlayStation 3, that content will be ready and waiting for you today.
What’s new this time around? Well, “Aftermath” will give players access to four earthquake-ravaged maps and, probably most importantly, a crossbow. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, a fresh game mode called “Scavenger” will force soldiers to begin with nothing more than a pistol and search high and low for more powerful weapons.

PlayStation 3 Premium owners can grab it now, while those without a fancy membership will have to wait a two full weeks. PC and Xbox 360 Premium owners, on the other hand, can download this content Dec. 4. Finally, everyone else will have a chance to see it all Dec. 18.
