Today saw the release of the latest firmware update for the PlayStation Vita, and there’s good news all around. The first major change involves bringing your PlayStation Plus membership to the handheld. Plus on the Vita will function similarly to it’s PS3 counter-part, with members receiving free games every month. After the store updates tomorrow, members can get their grubby little hands on the following.
Additionally, the web browser will now be classified as a “small app,” which basically means it can be used in-game. While not the most ground-breaking change, it is a welcome fix. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go buy another memory card.
What do you think of the evolution of the Vita and PlayStation Plus? Let us know in the comments below.
