Those disappointed by the delay in Ubisoft’s Rayman Legends, which was originally slated for release alongside the Wii U’s launch, may be able to get their Rayman fix after all. Ubisoft has confirmed that a demo for the new platformer will be available to download from Nintendo’s eShop via their brand-spanking new Wii U systems.
Rayman Legends is the follow-up to last year’s Rayman Origins which saw releases on all major gaming platforms, including PC and a smaller entry on iOS. Despite not having been a huge commercial success, the game has been celebrated by critics and gamers citing its charming hand-drawn art-style, challenging level design and accessible four-player gameplay.
Rayman Legends is a Wii U exclusive and will see release sometime in early 2013.
