Last month saw the release of the latest Xbox 360 dashboard update, but one change might have gone unnoticed. There wasn’t much official talk of it, but the USB storage limit for the 360 was raised from 16GB to 32GB. Since the minimal buzz post-update, the fine folks at Joystiq received confirmation from a Microsoft spokesperson that it was also part of the update.
According to the spokesperson, “Yes. The more our customers use their profile and download digital content, the larger the file size necessary to store that content and move it between consoles gets. Therefore we increased the size of the memory to enable our customers to take more of their Xbox profile with them on the go.”
