The hit RPG adventure series featuring Nintendo’s main man will be out for everyone to get their grubby mitts on this coming Sunday, November 11th. Paper Mario: Sticker Star will be available at both retail and on the eShop for US$39.99. For those who need to make room on their SD cards when downloading via the eShop, be sure to set aside at least 522MB (4,199 blocks).
Utilising the familiar RPG/action mechanics the series is known for, Paper Mario: Sticker Star will be integrating the use of collectable stickers which then affect gameplay in various ways such as taking the form of objects in the environment, ways of solving a puzzle and to issue commands in battle.
Paper Mario: Sticker Star will be the fourth entry in the Paper Mario series since its Japanese debut on the Nintendo 64 in 2000. Since then we’ve seen Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door on the GameCube in 2004 and a Wii follow up in 2007 in the form of Super Paper Mario. Also, the original Paper Mario was re-released on the Wii’s Virtual Console in 2007 for 1,000 Wii points.
