‘PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale’ adding characters, levels through DLC

SuperBot Entertainment will add both new characters and fresh levels to the upcoming PlayStation exclusive, PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, through DLC.

Don’t like the established cast in Sony’s attempt to catch the Super Smash Bros. magic in a bottle? Don’t give up hope too quickly, as Daniel Maniago, community manager at SuperBot Entertainment, has promised in an interview with the French PlayStation Blog that new additions will arrive for the game on the PlayStation Network. New Sony characters, as well as stages based on some of your favorite titles, will be periodically added to the game in order to spice things up a bit. How much each bit of content will cost, however, is yet to be announced.

Look forward to this additional content, but get excited now for PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale’s November 20 release on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

    Omar said this is a celebration of playstations past, but its just a money grab, i mean honestly how does an original xbox exclusive even get meantioned with this game and anyone with one game is not an allstar, i dont care what anyone says to defend these chracters, but they should have only been added after, crash, spyro, any squareenix chracter, snake, laura croft, while not exlusives, actually debued on playstation and had more than one game to them, Those are the third party characters that deserved to be on disc not characters that, had no move set in their games at all, or hadn’t even been released yet. Huge waste of time for developers when it could have been put to use poishing the game.

    Radec? didn’t have a name until this game

    Fat princess?, played the game, shes a flag in a capture the flag match (STUPID)

    Parappa?, rapping game, calmest, scardest person that would run sooner than throw a punch,

    Heihatchi? if any other 3rd party fighter made the cut, it should have been Ryu, he’s more respected

    Big Daddy? just… no… xbox exclusive for a year, should never ever ever ever been on disc

    Evil cole? waste of a character slot and should have been dlc for people that actually wanted him.

    Nariko? only not complained about cause we have no other female character, she was in one game, shouldn’t be an allstar.

    Raiden? snake should be representing metal gear

    oh and new dante lookes like a gay prostitute,

    throw us a bone superbot, your story mode better be great, and if crash finally make the cut inlcude his story mode like you chould have in the first place.

    So 8 out of 20 slot could have been put to better use and sold more yes, will they sell a lot with dlc probably, but you had a chance to win people over from other systems with a game like this and totally blew that oppurtunity, and hype and hope for this game that fans wanted ten years ago in truly squashed

      Problem with your theories….
      All of the characters you listed before had s 1st round picks were playstation Icons but they are owned by other companies that want to cash in on this game. Nariko is an all-star she helped sustain the ps3 in its first flailing for life in the launch of ps3. Anyone who owned a ps3 and that game in the beginning GREATLY appreciate the character.

      Raiden is a key factor in the Metal Gear universe and a great replacement to Solid Snake. Don’t get me wrong I love Solid Snake but he isn’t the only character that exists in that world. Even the Boss would have been a nice welcome to the roster.

      Evil Cole is essentially a different character than cole but probably the only “clone” character you will see on this roster. Unlike characters like Mario,Dr Mario, Link, young link atleast the moves and specials are completely different from the 2 characters as well as the look.

      New Dante looks like a gay prostitute? Have you not seen the old dante with his ripped slender build open chest arched back with leather jacket on? The new dante looks Like a normal person compared to old Dante.

      Also, Dante,Raiden, and heihachi essentially began on a playstation. With the only exception being Big Daddy. Every other character is a original icon and Star of Playstation leaving 16 characters as stars

    I really hope DLCs are gonna be for free. I know its most likely not gonna happen, but this is how it should be. I mean, i’m spending more than sixty bucks on this game, so I think I deserve content that hasen’t gotten finished yet. Besides that, rly looking forward to that game
