Take-Two, the publisher of Rockstar’s upcoming Grand Theft Auto V, recently stated in an investor call that the downloadable content for the game will feature “interesting stuff,” whatever that means.
Unfortunately, this news isn’t quite as exciting once you dig a bit deeper as Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick actually only said that we can assume as much:
“I think you can safely assume that Rockstar, as the label that led the charge in downloadable content with Grand Theft Auto 4, I think you’d have every reason to believe, purely because of the ground-breaking nature of the title itself and the multiplayer in the title, that there’s going to be a lot of interesting stuff. But I’ll leave that to Rockstar to announce.”
Furthermore, the company is still refusing to divulge the game’s official release date beyond Rockstar’s already-confirmed Spring 2013 window. With the promise that the announcement will come when the company thinks it best, we’re just going to have to be patient for now. Will you be picking up the game?
