Not very long ago, G4 was a network that gamers took quite a bit of joy in watching. In recent years, the popularity of some of the more well-known shows has dropped and terrible news appears to be hitting the network today.
According to a source at Kotaku, G4 will be cancelling X-Play, Attack of the Show, and all of their gaming programming. At this time, it is not known whether or not the shows will be cancelled immediately or if they will be allowed to last through the end of the year.
It appears that G4 is in the process of informing their employees as numerous tweets have surfaced hinting at this situation. We’ve featured a tweet below from Candace Bailey, host of Attack of the Show, that appears to allude to the cancellations.
I'm so fortunate to work with the people I work with everyday. #g4tv #aots
