Gamers, as well as a few of our writers, have been wetting their collective pants over the past few weeks playing Mark Hadley’s Slender: The Eight Pages. The indie game, based on the Slender Man meme, is a short and sweet horror title that’s been gaining some small-time attention through forums and other social means, but the experience will now be expanded in the form of Slender: The Arrival.
Parsec Productions and Blue Isle Studios are working together to bring this commercial release to the public in the coming months. It will essentially be a re-release of the original game, but with a slew of new features added to make it feel more complete.
“Slender: The Arrival is the official re-imagining of the original release that will engage players with the same terrifying gameplay, while adding a complete gaming experience that the fans have been asking for,” Blue Isle said. “The final version will include improved visuals, more content, more levels, and an engaging storyline to add to the Slender setting.”
The two screens above were just released, but expect a load of new content in the near future.
