Well it seems like 60 to 90 days was an incorrect estimate as to when the previously announced Mechromancer DLC for Borderlands 2 would release. Instead, you’ll see it hitting your console or PC on October 16 for $10 (800 Microsoft Points).
Announced at PAX East, the add-on consists of a fifth character which was recently in hot water when a Gearbox employee dubbed one of the abilities as a “girlfriend mode.” It was also revealed that the content would be free to all who pre-order the game. However, nothing has been said about whether or not Mechromancer is included in the just announced Season Pass.
For now, rejoice, Borderlands 2 is only two weeks away from launch. We can’t wait. So stay tuned for more announcements regarding the game.
