Since our staff is responsible for covering pretty much everything related to the video game industry on a daily basis, it can be tough to post all the stories we think our readers would like to see. Videos go unwatched, new release dates are missed and silly quotes just float away without ever being heard. So, instead of ignoring the news that slipped through the cracks each week, we decided to put it all in one convenient place!
This week, we take a look at the narrative of the gorgeous Star Wars 1313, a new developer diary for Ubisoft’s ZombiU, some details for PAX Prime and much more.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Expanding Campaign with Raven DLC
On September 11, fans of Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be treated to its second pack of DLC. The Raven Strike DLC pack is considered an homage to classic Ghost Recon, as larger maps, more detailed missions and an increased level of difficulty will force players to constantly think on their feet.
Here’s what you’ll get after downloading Raven Strike:
3 new missions in Campaign Mode
• Secure Dawn: a foggy marsh in Kazakhstan where the Ghosts will not be allowed access to advanced technology (no optical camouflage, drone or sensor grenade)
• Cold Walker: a train depot on the Russian countryside
• Argent Thunder: a nighttime urban setting in Moscow1 new map in Guerrilla Mode
• Sawmill: face 50 waves of enemies on a foggy Russian countryside
You’ll have to drop $14.99 to acquire this piece of content on September 11 both the PS3 and 360. However, the PC version won’t be available until a later date.

Wizord Developers Looking to Kickstart New Platformer
If you like wizards, platformers and Canadians, I think I’m about to make your day. Canadian developer Tribute Games, or better known as the people who brought you Wizord, are looking to woo the world again with the run-and-gun bonanza Mercenary Kings.
The game is currently sitting pretty on Kickstarter, and while you’re probably sick of hearing about that site at this point, there’s plenty of talent involved with Mercenary Kings that should grab your attention. A bunch of the people once behind the downloadable darling Scott Pilgrim vs. the World are working on this 2D platformer, including the man who did all the fantastic pixel art for the game. Inspirations for this new game also include Megaman, Metal Slug, and Phantasy Star Online, so without actually seeing the game, there seems to be plenty to love here. Thankfully, we have a video to make you even more excited.

If this project interests you at all, head on over to the team’s Kickstarter page to help them reach their goal. At just $75,000, it won’t take much longer to make this game a reality.
