Since our staff is responsible for covering pretty much everything related to the video game industry on a daily basis, it can be tough to post all the stories we think our readers would like to see. Videos go unwatched, new release dates are missed and silly quotes just float away without ever being heard. So, instead of ignoring the news that slipped through the cracks each week, we decided to put it all in one convenient place!
This week, we cover crafting weapons in Dead Space 3, the departure of BioShock Infinite’s art director, the latest trailer for Mars: War Logs and much more.
Software Update v1.80 Adds PSone Classics, Cross-Controller Functionality to Vita
Vita owners have been begging for it and in late August, Sony will finally add PSone Classics to the Vita. Yes, that sleek, $250 piece of hardware will be able to play decade-old games, but that’s not all update 1.80 will add. Games compatible on the PlayStation 3 will have the option to be controlled by the Vita, the portable’s home screen will gain analog navigation and the rear touch pad will be supported by the browser.
There’s no hard date, but expect it in the coming weeks.
