Last month we told you about an update that would finally give Metal Gear Solid 4 Trophy support. Now that patch has a release date.
At some point on August 6 (yup, just three days away), players should be able to download the update, which provides 34 Trophies for the 2008 hit title, along with the ability to install all the necessary data onto the PS3’s hard drive at once. Previously, players had to install different portions of the game between chapters.
Later in August, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima plans to show off the new Fox Engine, the system on which Metal Gear Solid 5 is rumored to run.
Needless to say, if you’re an MGS fan, August should be a pretty good month.
