There’s been a lot of controversy over the ending of Mass Effect 3 since it’s release in March, and in the months following they’ve tried to mitigate the backlash with DLC. The Extended Cut DLC, released last month, added a few scenes to the epilogue in hopes of satiating fans. And according to Bioware, this bit of DLC will be included on-disc with the Wii U version of Mass Effect 3, due later this year.
Producer of the Mass Effect series Michael Gamble told Siliconera, “The extended ending is basically going to be part of the game instead…You won’t have to download it.”
What’s your opinion on this DLC now being the “real” ending of Mass Effect 3? Does it have any affect on your view of the game if you finished it before the Extended Cut released? Let us know what you think in the comments below, or over in our Stick Skills forums.
