Call of Duty fans, we’re about to give you either some incredibly good or frustrating news. Depending on your play style in Call of Duty: Black Ops, you either loved or hated the popular map Nuketown.
The map was incredibly controversial, but received a lot of publicity during double XP weekends with frequent “Nuketown 24/7” modes popping up in Black Ops. Thanks to an image that was sent in to IGN, it appears that a remake of Nuketown will hit Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
The map will be a pre-order bonus that will be a part of a “Limited Edition Pack” for Black Ops 2. There’s no word on whether or not this will be in reference to any specific type of the rumored collector’s edition for Black Ops 2 as well.
During E3, Microsoft mentioned that all Black Ops 2 downloadable content will hit Microsoft first. After the 30-day exclusive period has ended, the content will then be available on the Playstation 3 and PC. Nothing was stated directly linking this DLC to that same method, but we’ll update the post as soon as we’ve been made aware.
