After a rather impressive showing at E3 this year, the interest in Far Cry 3 started to increase significantly. From gorgeous visuals to impressive gameplay being showcased, it appeared that Far Cry 3 was poised to make its way to systems all over.
Unfortunately, Ubisoft has announced a new release date for Far Cry 3. While the game had initially been slated for September, it’ll now release on November 29th for Europe and December 4th in the United States.
“We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience,” said Dan Hay, producer at Ubisoft. “Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.”
We’re glad to hear that Ubisoft is looking to take their time with Far Cry 3, as it has quite a bit of potential. The new release date puts it far enough past Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 & Medal of Honor: Warfighter to still have a fighting chance in the market.
